This week Apple acknowledged that some of its 15-inch MacBook Pro notebooks emit a whining sound, Apple says that customers experiencing such a thing should contact customer support.
Reports from the Internet seem to show that Apple will attempt to replace the main board fan and/or replace the whole motherboard itself. Average repair time looks to be around 10 days.
